I’m walking away,

What an apt sentence to say,

About what I am doing starting from today.

I’m walking away,

To find a better day,

To my sunset beyond the bay,

Where I shall, with barefeet,

Walk along the sandy beach.

Just my thoughts & me,

walking towards inifinity.

No YOU to weigh me down,

No US to come back to,

No THEM to tell me how,

Coz’ my time is now.

You don’t have to push me far,

Coz’ I’m not staying to know who you are,

The door is ajar,

I’m walking away… walking away.
