I have watched both of them tonite.

 

I have seen David Cook rocked & also show his sensitive side. (hell he cried man)

 

I have seen David Archuletta whine for all 3 songs.

 

Whine? Why did I say whine? Coz’ all 3 songs he chose were the slow mamat types lahh..

 

If it’s not for the fact that I like ballads I swear he would have put me to sleep due to boredom.

 

I mean as bad as David.C;s song choices were at least he showed that he can do different genres.

 

Archuletta?  Ballads after ballads after ballads. If he ever has a concert half of those in the audience would be asleep after the 1st 10mins!

 

YEs, agreed, the songs that Archuletta picked were real good ones worthy of Idol but seriously too much of a good thing becomes bad. Cancerous even!

 

Cook at least sang the way he knows best which is rock but he applied it to all the songs he picked & sang. The last song which was originally sung by Collective Soul is the best of all his performance. Not only did he toned down the mood of the song but he also sang it with so much honesty that wells up straght from the heart that there’s no mistakes about it.

 

Archuleta? I’m beginning to get reaaaaaally irritated by his “Gosh Golly” face.. You know that expression he has put on after his last sog adn Randy & Paula & even Simon were all praising him… Selenge bachin..

 

Cook held his own for his rendition of ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’. The song was originally by U2 and to sing a song from such a big band is not easy & he almost brought the house down man!

And he song “Dream Big” which is the contestant’s song choice for new song… I think that song was just MADE for David Roland Cook (yeah his middle name is Roland…. geeky.. but cute as hell )

When he sang that song I envisaged him on his 1st ever solo concert & the picture just looks right. No doubts or weirdness about it.

So I conclude, David Cook SHOULD & MUST win American Idols coz’ if he doesn’t, the it just shows one of 2 things.

1st: The youths of America is either sleeping or plain dumb.

or

 

2: Something is wrong with the voting system & that our suspicions are confirmed: IT IS RIGGED!

 

 

So there mates. We shall only know tomorrow morning (whyyyyyyyy?!??!?!?!) who would win the coveted title.
