I wonder some times what people mean by fashionable.

Does it mean always wearing the right stuff & not making a mistake?

Does it mean wearign something & looking good in it coz’ it ‘looks right’?

Or does it mean playing around with things & getting that signature look?

See, there’s this person i know who always, or so it seems to me, wears different clothes every day. Its only after weeks or months would you see the same top or bottom being worn again. Almost as is she is constantly having new stuff to wear.

Well anyways, she never seems to wear anything wrong. Yeah true, that might make her a good dresser, but seriously, it doesn’t neccessarily make her FASHIONABLE.

In fact, to quote a friend, it makes her kinda boring. Like no change. Too safe. You know what I mean?

Its not like she dresses, “WOW!” “Looks Good (ie.different)” or “Unique” or something like that.

In fact, after a while, its like, Blahhh boring.

I guess looking right for me, just does not equate to looking fashionable.

Yeah, I know fashion does not neccessarily be always right. But Always right also does not mean fashionable.

I guess fashionable for me is the ability to look good, dress right but NOT bore people with the same old look.

Just coz’ one person is holier that thou in her dressing while the other is a skank, doesn’t mean that the skank does not dress better than the holier one. In fact, skanks can be in too you know. (just not skanky minah or Lian lahh, that one cannot make it)

Some people just need to get off their high horses of fashion & stop being so delusional thinking that they are in fashion when in actual fact they are just SAFE. That’s it. Safe & Boring.

Yes, I am talking about someone I know. And no it’s none of you bloggers. Bloggers (or at least the one I know of) dress up mighty fine I might say..
