Maybe this is such a belated realisation on my part, but I just realised something about the Spore footballers.

Now no offence to the “Die Hard Spore Footballer Fans” or wifes or whatever you are who might be reading this.

I noticed that the Spore footballers, they all have pretty, pretty minahfied girlfriends & wives lahhh…

Almost all the footballer wives that I have seen be it in the TV or web are all either models or celebs of some kind or looks like models (although still very the minah).

Is it a MUST for them to get pretty pretty girls as their other halves?

Or is it just a “thing” with footballers no matter where they are from?

See, if they are such great footballers or some popular global icon then I don’t think I would be that peplexed by it.

BUT, Spore footballers machiam ’siak’ ah… (kan, ke-minahan ku dah terkeluar)

I used to be a big fan of Spore football, back in the days when Fandi was still actively playing for  Spore with other great names synonimous with that era like Malek Awab, Sundramoorthy, Steven Lim (i think), Abbas Saad, Alistair Edwards & many more.

Now THEY are the reason that I was proud of the Spore Squad even when they lose their games. Yeah they have bad days, & yes, they do suck sometimes in their performance, but hell, at least they are not as underservedly arrogant as most of the players in the squad nowadays.

The players nowadays all harapkan glamour only. When it comes to the crunch & play, cannot make it lah!

Scored a few goals only after that play like crap. Defence got lobang here & there.

If lets say the opponet team scores ahead, then our players start to get all gabra & panicky & even if they are given the perfect position for a shot, THEY MISS!

Macam siak!

So anyways, there, my 2cents worth of perplexation cum irritated disgust on the state of football-ers/ing in Spore nowadays.

Just had to write it down somewhat & unclog the system.

Nowadays, whenever Spore Squad plays & its shown TV I would be the 1st to complain & protest that the channel be changed to something more interesting…

When my bro gets excited about Spore winning I always shoot down his enthusiasm by saying, “You just wait & See… They would lose & get themselves kicked out of the game anyways”  “Same old plotline everytime..”
I think I am just being kind in telling him the brutal truth about our local soccer scene.. Best not to have him dissapointed later on..
