It is exactly 3days after the StarHub tech guy came over to install “The Cyberworld” into my home.
The 1st hour or so after the installation, it was kinda exciting to be able to surf in the comfort of my own home rather than at work or some other place. BUT, right after my sister closed the internet window to log off & let my bro use it instead, the past repeats itself.
We can’t access the internet.
Its like, “sui-sui” like that, riiiiight after the tech modem installer guy left, it decided to play punk with me.
So I decided to call the “customer care” (who was sooooooo caring that they put me on the line for close to 20mins before picking up!) & complain to them my predicament.
They guy on the line, sho sounded like an overpaid rich kid, asked did I tried to disconnect the LAN line from the router & plug directly to modem. I was like. “huh?!” was line??
And I told him that I’m using the wireless package so why would I wanna do that?!?
I think he realised I’m some tech goondu who just won’t understand or comprehend any geek talk, so he quickly told me that he would get the “modem guy” to call me back.
When I received a call from the “modem guy”, he asked the same thing & I told him the same thing too, & told him that I’m at work now. In which he replied that he would call me back after work so that he can direct me over the phone to troubleshoot.
WHAT!?!!?
I thought troubleshoot means, THEM, sending a tech guy to my place TO FIX the damn problem & shoot it.
NOT me doing the damn shooting!
I’m clueless! If ever anyone wants to catch me in a Dumb Blonde moment, talk geek to me & you would see my eyes glaze over in an instant!
Sighs, I foresee a very tiring, frusterating, nerve wrecking, curse inducing moment later tonite…
Arrrrrrrrrgghhhhhhhhhh!!!!
