SunBaked Me.

Posted by: aznurz on: March 24, 2008

Just came back from one hell of a long wait for a customer coz’ She Boss is in a Dept meeting & so she can’t pass to the clients our Sales Kits. So who has to do it? Yours Truly of course.

Seriously I don’t mind waiting just as long as there’s something entertaining me & I am told Waaaaaaaaaay beforehand & not when I am already ‘ter-congok’ there.  Thank god I had the gumption to bring along a book to keep me occupied.

BUT STILL~!!

I had to sit at a bench to the side of Trapizza (a restaurant by the beach) as I had no money with me to ya-ya buy a drink. The bench that I was sitting at had no shelter mind you so that means during my 45mins of waiting I also had to go thru 45mins of involuntary baking in the bloody scorching sun!

Arghhhh!!!! Why the hell are some customers so rude as to not inform their clients before the meeting time that they are gonna be late?!

In that span of 45mins there are so many things I can do!

I can finish up last minute invoices!

I can call up errant payers!

I can chase the chef for the menu he owes me!

I chat with Loos!

I can blog something much more pleasat than this rage infused entry!!!

Ugh!!

The only respite that distracted me from the heat & waiting was my book & watching a caucasian (probably irish or scot) mum bathing her 2 young boys & how the boys act with each other. One boy is named Liam, from what I gathered while overhearing their conversation.. :P

They boys were so cute when they were talking about their hair crowns. The older bro was looking at his younger sib’s head & saying “Mummy look! He has 2 crowns!”

“I’ve got 1! Mummy has one too! Many people have only one. Is it true that people say people with 2 crowns are naughty?!”

In which case the mummy replied no it’s not true. Then the younger bro was exclaiming to the mum :I’ve got one right mummy??? I’m not naughty am I???”

The young one looked like the cute impish one. Well, both of them are actually. But they are so adorable together I can’t help but smiled inwardly as I was eaves dropping at these 2 young “man” boys talking. Brotherly love at its best. :)

Hmmm, I guess, this entry is not all that bad huh? At least there’s some pleasant thing about it..

Like they say: For every wrong there’s always a right.

For all that baking under the sun & waiting that I did I DESERVED something good. Hmph.
