I am so into the Raya mood this year.

Why? Truth be known, I also dunno. Usually I’ll be just okay about it but this year, mood ter-angkat lah beb!
Here’s a few evidences that shows how “ON” I am about raya this year:

Proof 1:
I am actually doing my puasa with full care. Now I am no saint. Prayers got MCs, vulgarities still spew out of my gap hole etc.. BUt this year, abit of change lah. I am more quiet. I don’t involve myself in alot of office banter or idle chatter. I (very amazingly) control myself from cursing with vulgarities of any kind.
One sad fact though is that my prayers are zilch. Not that I am proud of that. In fact I am quite dissapointed that I can’t kick start!

Proof 2:
I manage to connivingly psycho my dad to paint the house! Finally, after nearly 10years in that house, the walls are gonna have a little make-over. I actually wanted the colour to be light pastel green but since daddy-o loves bright colours (now you know where my love for colours comes from:P), we settled for this lime green kinda hue. (think ‘Kermit The Frog’ & you would get the idea)
At first I thought “ohhhhh boyyyy, gelapnye!”
But after awhile, cantik jugak rumah aku ni… hehehe.
I am even willing to fork out money for new drapes for the living room. Budgeted, but still, NEW. (we’ve been using the same old drapes since we moved to the place coz’ my mum & dad is not the cerewet kind. Asal boleh pakai & it still looks new then it’s fine by them.)
Am thinking cream colour. Amacam?

Proof 3:
Am going shopping at Ikea Tampines this weekend! Am also going to Giant to get me a new, tall bookshelf. And I miiiiiiiiiight just get me an oven. Oh yeah, busy, busy am I.
