4 Jobs In My Life

1. hmmmmm, i think its the part time sales girl job @ Toko Lisa Dept Store @ Tanjong Katong Complex.. It was after my Os & close to Hari Raya so work lorrr.. Before that I have never worked before coz’ Dad said, NO…. Quite an experience I must say. Very tired & achy feet & back after a whole day of standing. I remember asal ade chance mesti duduk sekejap..curi tulang..heheheheheheh

2. 6mth stint at Ang Mo Kio Childcare Center as Assistant Child Care Teacher (Playgroup). Me & another teacher is in charge of a group of about 20 tots. It was a new experience for me. Got the job right after quitting the Sales girl job. I thought the job was JUST teaching, but i was sooooooooo wrong. We also had to fead the kids if they are abit problemo, clean after then when they poop, make sure they take their meds if they are sick, plan lesson plans & what to teach & HOW to teach, take turns doing Nap Time duty (my favourite part of the job coz’ all would be soooo quiet & peaceful & sometimes I also would fall asleep while on duty!)

3. Customer Service Agent with United Parcel Service. in short, UPS. Yeaps, Right after the childcare teaching stint I went straight to Pre-U. Then after that it is straight with UPS. I guess I can safely say it was my 1st REAL job. No hibby jibbees. No ‘pray pray’ hor.. The company is big in U.S but wen you say it here in Spore’ many would go “huh??” with big question marks looming on top of their heads.. So I found that saying that my company is like FedEx & DHL really helps coz’ THEN, people would go “ahhhh… company besar kat Amerika tu eh?”…. Sighs. Was there for 5yrs then when the management decided to move the customer service line to Malaysia (of all the goddamn freaking place!) I decided it’s time to ship out & not suffer anymore in Accounts which was where I was thrown into. The good thing about this company is that it has a no retrenchment policy. The bad though is, they would somehow “tourture” you slowly and make YOU, resign. That way no retrenchment & you would still leave… cunning huh? I dunno whether it’s just the mindset of a typical cynical worker but it sure does look that way lor.. like conspiracy theory. *smirk*

4. My current job now, ermmm, in the Paradise Island of Spore. ( I am trying to sound vague just in case someone I know is snooping on my blog, in whih case I would say….. SHOO! SCRAM! Expelliarmus!) What I do here? I assist the Sales Exec of the ‘Tikus” Dept.. Intresting job after 5yrs of picking up calls only to have customers order you to do stuff or complain or scream their heads off or, the very rare ones, flirt with you..

4 Countries I’ve Been To (or cities of country I’ve been to) ….. I love travelling but have not travelled much lah

1. Johor! Shop Shop Shop! Chewing gums! CDs!

2. Malacca.. School history trip! we stayed in this hotel that sorta seems abit like a mini condo like that so we pretended to be anak Datuk’s & VIPs,,hehehe

3. hrmmmmm, Little India? (told you I was patheticly un-exposed)

4. duhhhhhhhhhhh, CHINAtown…. heheheheh, anything to fill up this list lah!!

4 Of My Favourite Food

1. Lemak Cili Padi. tak kira lah sapa masak asal sedap… & I seriously don’t care about what’s the contents asal Halal dan aku bedal. (pelahap)

2. Sambal Goreng! My absolute fav is of course my late grandma’s one so since she’s not around anymore kena lah aku masak sendiri bila terasa nak makan..otherwise kalau nasi melayu kuah paling important tu lah dia! makan dengan nasi kering gitu x2 pun sedap lerrr..

3. Nasi Lemak. I think I can safely say I grew up eating it everyday (which explains my “voluptuos” figure..)

4. Spaghetti Seafood Goreng. My creation mind you so that means you won’t get the recipe anywhere in the internet. It’s reaaaaaaaaally yummy (mem-promote diri sendiri). It’s filling & quite healthy I must say…. if you don’t mind the oil & frying lahh..

4 Places I’d Rather be at Now

1. Home!!!!! Aku nak tido!

2. At the library, Kinokuniya or Borders. Wherever that’s cool, has tonnes of books & a little corner for me to read or snooze with a nice warm cup of mocchalate. the peace, smell of new books, aircon… *bliss*

3. Any shopping center & of course SHOPPING!!!!!… erm, provided I have money…

4. In an internet cafe somewhere cool at some part of Spore where there are alot of cute looking ang mohs for me to cuci mata while I rest from blogging. hehehe
