All this HOTA schmota thingey is reaaly making me wonder …. Do I WANT to be included?



Chances are I would be one of the 1st few to get forms for me & my family to be excluded. No offence, but if there was to be any organs being removed I would wantr to be the one giving the consent. I do not want to be harvested as soon as I’m dead.
Somehow the idea of going to meet the Lord with my innards all “kosong” just does not appeal to me.

A fatwa is just a ruling saying it’s not wrong, BUT, the choice still depends with me.

The decision is mine. I somehow don’t think they should just auto include people into the HOTA. If they want to auto include then fine, make the exclusion process easy. Don’t say must have a lawyer draw up will lah, whatever nonsense lah, etc..

That way only the rich would have a say, the poor would have no choice but to let their organs be taken coz’ they are just too darn poor to pay for a lawyer & will.

Also I don’t think my organs are all that healthy anyways. CHOY! lah bu still, I’ve gotta admit I am not the healthiest person around. My family has a history of Diabetes, something that I am trying hard not to get. There’s also the Blood pressure & heart problems my Granfather has… God knows what other things on my mother’s side pulak… So tell me, do you think it’s fair to plonk all that undesirable potentials on another soul who wants a fresh start & not more problems?????



It’s my body, It’s my decision. Allah gave it to me. HE takes it back. HE is the decider.

I am just the wrecker, just like everybody else..
