Remember the days of old where cartoons reign supreme? You know those ever popular one that you can still remember until now like: Alvin & The Chipmunks, Carebears, Smurfs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Strawberry Shortcake, Sesame Street!..etc..

I do. And I still remember some of the theme songs and cartoon characters. There’s just something about the kid shows of that time and era that is unlike the shows now. Nowadays kiddie shows are all about action and adventure but that’s about it. Unlike the olden shows where then story attracts a kid’s attention and also @ the same time instills a lesson to be learnt from each cartoon episode, not to forget giving mum that 30mins of silence and calm before all hell breaks loose again when the cartoon is done! (:P)
They don’t play such cartoons on TV anymore. The only way you can get to watch them is by either having a recorded tape of it or by buying the VCDs from Ebay. If you’re lucky that is.
Oh well, can always hope that some kind soul would upload clips from these old cartoons for us 80s kiddies to watch and reminisce..
