Yups, twas’ a day of celebrations yesterday. What did you do?? Well, I had a cold that clogged up my freaking nose while my dad & bro went fishing & me mum & sis went to my gran’s place. So was I having a good celebration of our nation’s birthday? Not exactly.
But watching the ceremonial segment of the parade really made me better. I’m not exactly your typical political supporter but there is something about watching the whole ceremonial segment of the parade that just fills me up with pride. (Those men in Uniform!! Drools!..) Probably it’s because I once took part in the NDP Celebrations in 1996 when I was in secondary school & our Millitary band (which was the eca I was in) was chosen as one of the school bands to participate in the mass school band formation for the pre-parade segment & also to form the central Merlion head formation during the ceremonial segment. I guess it’s true what some people say:If you have never took part in an NDP parade before then you won’t know how it feels. But enough about me reminiscing my good ol school days. National day was pretty sedated for me. Probably coz’ i had the flu bug to keeep me down but I also had an achievement of my own later in the day. I did & finished my very first montage using photoshop. You mite think its nothing to crow or brag abt but aftr all the explesitives I spewed trying to understand how to navigate & understand it I think its a HUGE deal. If you’re still not convinced then you’re just hard to please. Hmph!
The montage is simple & juvenile but hey, it’s just the first.. & i;m going to shamelessly show it off to the whole, wide, freaking world! Voila Everyone!!!!! (Yaaaaayyy for me!!!)..hehehehehe
